HVAC Maintenance
Benefits of Annual Maintenance
Ignoring maintenance for your air conditioner and heater can be just as costly as ignoring oil changes and maintenance for your car. Changing the air filter alone is not enough to keep your HVAC running smoothly. Skipping routine maintenance year after year invites the potential of an inconvenient breakdown into your home.
Poorly maintained systems cannot run as efficiently, effecting the cost of your energy bill. Worst of all, this could be contributing to an early death for your heating and cooling units. All machines require maintenance to keep them running at their best, heating and cooling systems are no different. Preventive maintenance boosts energy efficiency, improves performance, reduces the chances of an expensive repair, and extends the life of the machine.
North Tarrant Heat and Air recommends 2 check-ups per year for residential systems, once in the Spring and once in the Fall, this is why we offer Annual residential memberships starting at $300, which includes the servicing of one system twice per year. Keeping up with the Texas heat is no easy task, and your HVAC system will thank you! Make North Tarrant Heat & Air your first call! Air Conditioner Maintenance
North Tarrant Heat & Air’s team of Service Technicians follow a precise checklist as they perform routine maintenance on your cooling systems.
The multi-point inspection includes:
Checking The Primary Drain Line and Secondary Drain Pan, Cleaning The Condenser Coil, Tightening Connections, Measuring Refrigerant Levels, Measuring Amp Draw @ Compressor, Measuring Amp Draw @ Condenser Fan Motor, Inspecting the Air Filter, and Looking For Worn Parts.
At the end of the appointment, you receive a complete report on the condition of the system. Minor repairs can often be completed immediately, as our trucks are fully stocked with common parts and filters.
Heater Safety Inspection
Heater Safety Inspections are recommended before running your heater for the winter to help extend the life of the system, help reduce the possibility of failure, ensures your system is operating efficiently, verifies there are no gas leaks or carbon monoxide going into the home, which could prevent a fire, explosion, or carbon monoxide poisoning! Giving you peace of mind that your system is in good working order & safe to run.
